Introducing Michael, the newest member of my extended family. Michael married my niece, Amanda in May of 2007. From the first minute I met him, he earned a place in my heart. Austin was on a tear that day, and he was too loud, and too rowdy, and just too much Austin! Michael was totally unfazed by him, and played with him for several hours. Michael is a teacher, and if his relationship with Austin is anything to go by, his students must love him!
I don't have much family of my own anymore. I'm an only child, and my parents are both gone. Austin is the only blood relative that I have left, but I've been blessed with a large extended family through my husband. From the minute that I arrived in Texas, they have made me feel not only welcome, but wanted. I'm so glad that Austin has the security that a large family offers, since I think that in the long run he'll feel a lot more secure than I ever have.

I wasn't sure how I'd like making such a small album, but I just loved it and couldn't believe how much I could fit into such a small space!
