Scrap4Brains- Blog Hostess- July 27

Thank you so much for the emails and comments of birthday wishes. I had a great time with my family... a lovely breakfast, a lazy day by the pool, and a great dinner and cake. I am just so grateful that the boys were here to celebrate with me! The picture below is me with my sons and one of my nieces... they were more surrounding the cake than being with me... HA! (It was good cake, too!) Huge thanks to my parents for the birthday dinner and to all my family for the thoughtful presents!! And an extra special thank you to my wonderful husband for making this day extra special.

If you rode the Polar Blog Express with me, you know that I like to hide my links. Not for devious reasons, but because I write as I speak, so reading these blog posts is a great way for my internet friends to get to know me personally. Also, secretly, I've always wanted to be a writer. (If anyone knows how I can break into that business, please do send me an email! But then again, why would anyone buy my book when you can read online for free?!)

What would I write if I did write a book? I've got several ideas... one really good one that is scrapping related- but I won't mention that here, in case I can get a book deal for it! ;) The other thing I would write would be about our love story... my husband and mine, that is.

If you clicked around my Digitals Gallery yesterday, you may have noticed a change in my photos and layouts. Well, I have remarried and when I did I married my soul's mate... my Mel.

The best thing that I can say about our relationship is that it makes me truly happy. And he's great for my scrapbooks because he is so photogenic... don't we look cute together?!

I created my Valentine Verbs Kit because Mel and I are such an active couple... we keep busy doing things we both enjoy, especially dancing and walking all over town with our fur- baby, Quinn. (You can read all about Quinn on my personal blog.) So Valentine Verbs is a kit centered around action verbs that keep a relationship fresh.

The other loves of my life are my children... but that's another blog post... Thanks again for reading. Remember, though, on August 2, I will be removing the files, so get it while you can.

Thanks again... and see you in the gallery!

PS... Congrats to those of you who actually read my blog postings during the Polar Express blog train. I hope you enjoyed the extra thank you download. If some of you missed it, it's still there if you wanted to go back and read again- not telling you which day, you'll have to read and click to find it!

FREE DOWNLOAD NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
