Someone took the time yesterday to stop and encourage me to design out of the joy of expressing "me" using my talents that God gave me rather than trying to be like "mike". She took the time to do so through a poem she wrote on the spot. If she had been more concerned about what she had to do or what she might miss out on...this moment may have never happened.
I am letting go of some projects today to take the time to share with you a poem that I am writing, right now as I type. A poem of encouragment as a scrapper and taking the time for what is important and that is "YOU".
Expressing Life Through Art
These are my precious moments;
they're a part of who I am.
I extend every little detail;
for each viewer to exam.
Through colors that inspire me;
or styles that fit just right.
I place each feature my own way;
in hopes to surely delight.
Just as each moment touched my heart;
I want to pass it onto others too.
Whether it's those in whom it's all about;
or those who just pass through.
These are my precious moments;
they're a part of who I am.
I extend every little detail;
for each viewer to exam.
Through colors that inspire me;
or styles that fit just right.
I place each feature my own way;
in hopes to surely delight.
Just as each moment touched my heart;
I want to pass it onto others too.
Whether it's those in whom it's all about;
or those who just pass through.
Feel free to use this poem in any of your scrapbooking projects, but please give credit to Karla of Lifesong Kreations. I hope you enjoyed the poem and I have a quickpage for you today too using a template by DigiDollarama.

thank you for sharing your thoughts, that's exactly how I have been feeling. Maybe because it's my birthday, but I do feel we have times of change and letting go of our many things and projects sometimes. Nice to know I have some company!
