I will be selecting 2-3 people.

1st winner today: hutchie...Her words were heartfelt, thought out and inspiring!!
What is it that you love about Digital Scrapbooking the most and why?

"What I love most about digital scrapbooking is the obvious answer... to preserve memories
of me and my family and friends. I love to be able to capture those moments of happiness
and most of all the personalities of everyone I have love for. With the kids they change so
often and so fast so to be able to remember the little things in their personalities at all the
stages of their life is important to me... I want to remember little things like Lainie getting
into a chocolate cake and getting it all over her and all over my kitchen floor...as much of
a mess as it was to clean up for ME it was HER pride and joy at the moment. And Timmy how
him and his classmates got 1st place in the tug of war on field day and being able to capture
his face beaming with happiness. And Kailynne...Always being very girly...thinking she is a
princess with all her emotions and facial expressions. I want to remember the sad things in
my life as well focusing on the happiness the subject has brought to me and sometimes
definitely focusing on the sad part... I haven't forgotten some of the pets we have lost, but
the emotions don't seem real to me now on how I felt shortly after they passed, but if I read
over the scrapbook page I did of Jessie...it brings me to tears in no time flat. She was a
wonderful dog and friend. I cant forget Tim's home coming. The emotions to finally have him
home and to be able to provide my kids and family with pages and pages of their life to look
back on definitely beats any photo album with the journaling and stories I am able to tell.
This is why I love digital scrapbooking. My only regret is not getting started on this earlier in
my life."

2nd Winner Today: sparkyhen Her post represented several different emotions Digital Scrapbooking can spur on.
"I love ...
the fact that I can put all the things I want to work on together and leave them there.
I love....
that there's no packing up everytime I need to put a meal on the table,
I Love
not losing all my punches, paper ..... to my kids.

Most of all I love
putting something together I'm happy for others to see, most of my "other" scrapbooking is in a box, never to be seen by others because "it's not good enough".

At last I can have fun without making a mess and without buying gadgets i will never use, but take up valuable space. Now I can buy all the "digital" tools I want.... I wonder how long it will be before I fill up my external hard drive?
"

My Third Winner is regonzo--its her additional bonus that got me...it has truly been great to have connection with people across continents.

"When I discovered scrapbooking, at first I was afraid to do anything or "cut up" pictures. But through the encouragement of friends and family I have found a true outlet for my creativity (and learned that there are ways to preserve memories without actuallly cutting photos), a way to remember friends and family through the enjoyment of photos both past and present, and a way to honor my family and friends by preserving these memories. As an additional bonus, I have found a whole other special group of "friends" who share their love of scrapbooking over the internet - a true connection across the continents."
